A public–private partnership between Colorado State University, Marvel Fusion, and CSU Strata, the ATLAS Facility is set to open in 2026 to support cutting-edge laser-driven fusion research.

Colorado State University’s Advanced Laser for Extreme Photonics (ALEPH) is a next-generation Titanium-doped Sapphire laser system operating at 3.3 Hz with 0.85 petawatts of peak power and 30 femtosecond pulse durations.
